Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd consolidated sales down 5.51% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit tanked by 28.45% As on : 06-Aug-26  20:28

Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd share price declined by 1.26% to Rs 2241.85 after the company's net profit tumbled by 28.45% to Rs 111.06 crore, while revenue from operations softened by 5.51% to Rs 1999.53 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Compressors, Pumps & Diesel Engines industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.68 lakh crore, declining 1.82%. It has marginally improved by 0.44% over last one week and ticked higher by 2.37% in last one month while the market capitalization of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd has improved by 5.23% and 30.01% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd stood at Rs 151.07 crore in Q2 FY26, tumbling by 19.24% year-on-year, and crashing by 28.06% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 285 crore, slipping 2.33% YoY and tanking 21.78% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 2.30% to Rs 1747.71 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 949.99 crore, increasing 10.03% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 191.18 crore, jumping 17.64% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 21.68% to Rs 7701.01 crore, while net profit registered a growth of 17.77% to Rs 557.72 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 117379% to Rs 1348.55 crore, and PBT rose 16.59% to Rs 756.27 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 932.21 crore in FY26, as against Rs 738.94 crore in FY25. Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd soared by 158.69% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has eased by 2.64% during the same period.
